Christine Drazan Outraises Previous Four GOP Gubernatorial Nominees

Canby, Ore. – Christine Drazan’s campaign for governor announced today that Drazan has outraised each of the previous four GOP gubernatorial nominees in the month immediately following the primary, with Drazan setting a record among the nominees over the past 12 years. Drazan has raised nearly $1 million since May 17, with $750,000 raised in the last two weeks alone.

“Since the moment she launched her campaign, Christine showed that she would be able to attract the kind of support necessary to mount a winning campaign,” said Trey Rosser, Drazan’s campaign manager. “Her historic start to the general election further underscores the fact that Christine is garnering support from every corner of Oregon with her message of change.”

Drazan’s fundraising numbers come on the heels of the release of the first public poll in the race, which showed her leading what are expected to be her two most notable opponents. Drazan has also since released a long list of endorsements from 60+ elected and former elected leaders, as well as two of her top primary challenges, Dr. Bud Pierce and Sandy Mayor Stan Pulliam.
