Drazan Responds To Identity Politics Curriculum In Kindergarten Classrooms
Canby, Ore. – Former state representative and House Republican leader Christine Drazan issued the following statement in response to the Oregon Department of Education’s new identity politics curriculum for kindergarteners:
“Politics in the classroom has to stop. Our kids should be spending their time at school learning how to read, write, and do math. But the Oregon Department of Education is force feeding our kindergartners a crash course in identity politics. Our schools should be a place where students learn how to think, not what to think.
“Under my administration, we’ll get back to the basics in the classroom and leave politics at home — where it belongs.”
